CCDC Logistics Crew

The Logistics Crew is made up of CCDC (Citizen Corps of Delaware County) members who assist in mission preparedness, operation, and restoration of resources necessary to support all aspects of the Corps mission.

The Logistics Crew members provide behind-the-scenes mission support in a variety of ways.

• Maintain CCDC equipment and supplies.
• Draw materiel for missions.
• Setup prior to missions and restore the site and equipment at end of mission.
• Provide ongoing Logistics actions during long-term missions.
• Assist Department of Emergency Services (DES) with special projects regarding disaster supplies and equipment.
• Participate actively with preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts of Citizen Corps of Delaware County and the County of Delaware.

CREW SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT IN ALL WE DO. You should always wear closed-toe shoes to missions. Work gloves are recommended.

Physical demands may require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, loading and unloading.

Other duties include assessing inventory, requesting materiel and equipment, and documentation of same.

PPE appropriate to the mission is provided as well as just-in-time training, and other education as needed.
